How To Use The Bowflex Treadmills

Getting Started

If you have never used a treadmill before then you are definitely going to want to take it easy and do light workouts at first. The initial phase of using a treadmill could make you feel uncomfortable, so understand that it is a new machine and that it may take you a couple of tries before you get the hang of it.

Start by walking, and you can set a normal speed which would be around ay 5 km/hr to start off. As you begin to feel more comfortable with the machine you can start to increase the pace and speed it up. You may want to start off by using the handrails at first, but this will decrease the intensity of the workout, so as you begin to make improvement you will want to stop using the handrails to make sure that you are getting the most out of your workouts.

Once you progress and start to run on your treadmills, make sure that you stay in the center of the machine so you can keep your balance and not trip and fall off. This will also make sure that you get the very most out of your workout.

There are also many other additional things that you can do if you want to make the most of your workout. For instance, you can try putting on some music that you like while you are working out. This will keep you from getting bored and also will make time go by faster so you will work out longer.

You may also want to think of having a friend or family member there with you, whether they are working out as well or not. They will be there to keep you company and help you enjoy your workout more, and not only that but they can also be a spotter which means that if you get hurt you will have someone there who will be able to help you.

Really, whenever you are working out you should have a spotter, even with a treadmill, although it is considered as a very easy form of exercise. treadmills are very effective and easy to use and so if you are just starting a fitness regime this is definitely a fitness machine you will want to start with.
